Contracted to set up and install the technical infro-structure when DTS Limited first commenced its broadband provider service in Wellington and Auckland, New Zealand.
DTS is a business-focused broadband provider committed to bringing its customers the best possible online experience. They are dedicated to customer satisfaction and have served New Zealand companies and organisations since 2003.
The contract involved some long term planning and setting up the following services:
- SMTP server using sendmail
- Pop server
- Apache webserver
- Smoothwall firealls
- TCP/IP packet accounting for volume billing
- Platypus ISP customer management and Billing Software
- Radiator a highly configurable RADIUS server for online authentication.
Setting up an ISP and getting the systems right is a complex task. It was a pleasure work with the technical staff and managers of DTS to service and upgrade the products as necessary over the years of there operation.
